With an impressive output of 12,000 BTUs of cooling power, this unit is both air conditioner, and dehumidifier. Effective up to 550 sq. ft. This unit is suitable for medium-large living spaces while drawing approximately 2.64 pints of moisture from the air, every hour.

Efficiency & Certifications

Unfortunately, this unit has not received an Energy Star certification. However, the Amana 12,000 Btu Air Conditioner has been UL-Listed. This means that the product has passed the meticulous testing methods of Underwriters Laboratories, and will not have any harmful effect on the air you breathe.

Boasting an Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) of 12.1, this product is well above the industry average of 9.7.

Convenience

In true Amana tradition, this unit comes loaded out with all of the extra features you could ever require from your air conditioning unit.
