With the ability to circulate air at this speed, the effects of this unit can be felt in no time, so you’re not waiting around anxiously to feel the breeze. As an added bonus, the FFTA1233Q1 has an equally impressive moisture removal rate of 3.3 pints per hour, meaning this unit doubles as quite a formidable dehumidifier.

Efficiency / Certifications

With an Energy Efficiency Ratio of 9.8, the Frigidaire FFTA1233Q1 is only barely over the industry average of 9.7, which is a shame. However, as this product is Energy Star Certified, it has been assessed and is efficient nonetheless.

Functioning at a noise level of 56.4dB, this unit is actually quieter than the average human conversation, which usually registers at about 60dB.

Weighing 72lbs, this unit is by no means light. We recommend assistance if you find yourself in the situation where the unit must be lifted. Never attempt to lift heavy units by yourself, as a precautionary measure.

All in all, this is an absolutely fantastic in-wall air conditioner unit. We can state with confidence that this unit is easily one of the best we have reviewed. Our sole criticism is that there was no Dehumidify Only mode, which, considering the Frigidaire FFTA1233Q1’s dehumidifying capacity, is a real shame. However, this tiny detail is nowhere near enough to detract away from the exemplary performance of this unit, and we would strongly recommend this product to anyone considering it.
