By removing up to 3.5 pints of moisture from the air per hour, this unit is the ideal choice for someone living in a hot & humid environment, where excessive humidity proves to be every bit as problematic as the heat.

Efficiency / Certifications

The Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) of a unit is an adequate measure of how efficiently the appliance will function. The industry average in this regard falls approximately on 9.7, with any units scoring above 10 generally being considered to be highly efficient. This saves you energy, while also sparing you from waking up to an overly-cooled home.

Design

Weighing 73lbs, this unit is exceptionally heavy for a portable unit, and for this reason we strongly advise seeking assistance when installing or transporting this device. However, once installation is completed, moving this unit around your home could not be easier, with the inclusion of easy-roll caster wheels on its bottom-face.

Additionally, this unit can be operated quietly, with a noise-level of only 50 dBA on low setting. While not exactly whisper-quiet, considering the amount of BTUs this unit pumps out, a bit of volume is certainly to be expected.
